First Impressions & Arrival 9/10

Upon arrival at Can Bassa, the rustic charm of the stone farmhouse immediately sets the tone for a tranquil stay. The historic building, surrounded by lush gardens and olive trees, exudes warmth and authenticity.

Check-in is available from 16:00 to 20:00. Since we arrived later than 20:00, we did not meet the owners in person. However, the late check-in process was well-organized. We received a code for the gate and parking, and our room was fully prepared, with the key waiting on the door.

The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate, making you feel as though you’ve stepped into a hidden gem rather than a typical hotel. The carefully restored interiors blend traditional elements with modern comforts, giving a cozy yet refined feel. First impressions are undeniably positive, with the peaceful surroundings and tasteful decor creating a sense of effortless elegance.

We stayed in the room named Taller, which was exceptionally spacious. The room maintained the charm of the historic building while offering modern comforts. It featured rustic wooden beams, stone walls, and simple yet elegant furnishings. The bed was comfortable, and the linen was of high quality, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

The bathroom was particularly impressive, with a large walk-in shower that was spotless and well-maintained. Everything felt meticulously clean and hygienic. The room also had a wardrobe with hanging space and drawers, making it easy to store our belongings neatly.

One of the highlights was the private terrace attached to our room, furnished with two chairs and a small table. This outdoor space provided a peaceful and secluded spot to unwind, adding to the overall sense of tranquility and relaxation. It was the ideal place to enjoy a bottle of wine from the honesty bar, making our evenings even more special.
