Finca Legado is situated in the heart of Ibiza, away from the bustling crowds, yet still conveniently close to the island’s best attractions. You’re just a 20-minute drive from Ibiza Town, making it easy to access the island’s famous beaches and nightlife while being able to retreat to the peaceful countryside when you’re ready for some rest. The location is perfect for those who want to experience both the party atmosphere of the island and the quiet charm of its rural beauty.

First Impressions & Arrival 9/10

Upon arrival, Finca Legado instantly impressed me with its rustic charm. The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens, and the traditional Ibizan architecture gives it a welcoming, cozy feel. The owners greeted me with warm smiles and offered a refreshing drink, setting the tone for a relaxed and memorable stay. Their dog, Gino, was an absolute cutie and loved getting attention from guests, such a sweet addition to the experience! It’s clear that the owners have put a lot of love and attention into the space, making sure that guests feel at home from the moment they step through the door.

Finca Legado is an adults-only retreat, designed specifically for guests aged 18 and older. It offers a luxurious country getaway for those who appreciate the simplicity of life, coziness, and exceptional hospitality, all set in a peaceful, tucked-away environment that’s away from the rest of the island.

We stayed in the Pool Deluxe Room, which was unique and full of character. The room itself was a bit on the darker side, but it had a cool, eclectic design with amazing attention to detail. It didn’t feel like your usual hotel room, everything was thoughtfully chosen to make the space feel special. You’ll find everything you need: ample closet space, a large comfortable bed, and a great shower. The small terrace just outside, located right by the pool, was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Finca Legado features a beautiful saltwater pool, surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for a refreshing dip or a relaxing time by the water. During the summer months, breakfast and fresh healthy snacks are served in the garden and pool bar, offering a delightful way to enjoy the surroundings while indulging in delicious food. The luxurious gardens surrounding the property add to the tranquil ambiance, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. While there isn’t a spa, the peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere makes for an incredibly rejuvenating experience.

Dining Experience 9/10

The dining experience at Finca Legado is a true celebration of local organic ingredients and wholesome, homemade food. The love for fresh, healthy food is evident in every meal, starting with the deluxe breakfast served until late. Fresh eggs from the LEGADO chickens, along with an abundance of fruits like lemons, oranges, apricots, and plums, are picked directly from the property’s 3.5 hectares of farmland. These ingredients are used to create delicious homemade products such as organic jams and fresh fruit cakes, adding a personal and authentic touch to each meal.

Although we didn’t have the chance to try dinner, we did enjoy a delicious lunch, which was equally impressive. Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely breakfast by the pool or savoring a private dinner upon request, the food at Finca Legado is always fresh, flavorful, and nourishing. The emphasis on local produce not only makes the meals delicious but also supports sustainability and a connection to the land. It’s an ideal way to start the day or wind down in the evening, with the added bonus of knowing every dish is made with care and love.
